Everyone needs a software right now. To be more efficient, faster etc. And here we come: software engineers doing our best to make people’s lives easier…
So why do companies and other organizations have a tendency to undervalue people with advanced technological skills?
Ok now. Tell me the truth: how often do you actually think about the people who need the app when writing a code? Do you think you are doing something for a user, or that you are solving an interesting problem and how to solve it in the most efficient way?
I bet the second one for the most part.
Because of that, unfortunately, we are still considered as cost centers.
So what to do to improve our image?
